About Us
Carrying on the ancient artistic tradition
seen in prehistoric caves, Egyptian tombs, Roman
frescoes and medieval palaces, muralist Sally
Masteller, owner of CustomArt West, transforms
homes and businesses throughout Southern
California. Since 1997, her murals, trompe
l'oeil and faux work have graced walls both
outside and in, and transported those who view
them to another place and time. A talented and
respected artist, Masteller plays with color,
composition, perspective and light. She can
create architectural detail where none exists,
illusions that evoke not just art but ambience,
and personal touches by painting a family pet or
a favorite possession into her custom
scenes.

CustomArt West is a hybrid between a for-profit business and a non-profit organization. It’s a "share-profit" company. The aim is to not only create a profitable business by providing quality service and artwork to our clients, but to give to the needs of the world around us. In addition to creating beauty in your surroundings, we aim to make a significant contribution to the lives of others. We do so by providing top quality service to you, and by giving a percentage of our sales to those who work with far less fortunate people here and abroad. A minimum of 10% of our work is donated to global & local charities.
